Dragons of Despair

by Clyde Caldwell

A black dragon sprays acid over a band of adventurers in a ruined city of waterfalls, while an archer draws on it and a knight raises his shield. Caldwell painted it for the cover of the 1984 Dragonlance module Dragons of Despair; it also appeared in the 1985 Dragonlance Calendar.
