Yeah, I don't know if you guys want to hear this again, but I'll tell it anyway.

In 1995, Dragonheart came out. I was four. I remember watching it with my brother. Looking at Draco, I thought "Father". Not in the blood sense but another kind. (mainly because I knew he wasn't real) Since then I never really felt quite right. I've felt like a watcher. I got older and have an extensive dragon collection to which I am adding more every passing month if I can help it. I've always felt a closeness and need to be one of them, and for a while I thought I was crazy. Then I found you guys....
Have I told you guys lately that you rock?

mine was a bit like that too. I was about that age and i saw this movie about a guy who lived in a castle(it was set in the present) and he found this baby dragon, they grew up as best friends, but someone found out about the dragon and captured him(I'm giving you most of the story cuz i can't for the life of me remember what it was called) I saw that movie and I have loved dragons ever since. I too have a collection of figurines(and a ton of books) and my family doesn't really understand me. I've always felt that i was different from everybody else in my town. I haven't figured out exactly what the difference is, but i will find out sometime or another. Finding this place has been a blessing to me. Thanx everybody, you guys are awesome!

Kind of the same, except it was a book, I can't remember exactly what it was called but it was about a village terrified of the dragon living on a mountain right outside of their village, so they asked the king to send a knight to kill it, but when the knight got there he found the dragon was more scared of him than he was of it so they became best friends. That's when I found out I loved dragons.

hmmm I was slightly different. I was adopted at birth, and never really knew who my real parents were (I know they were elves because Im an elf), and I never really felt that I belonged to my adoptive family, I had always had strong attraction to dragons. it quickly became an obsession after reading a certain book. (I cant remember what it was called)

Well, when i was younger, i remember the same movie, Dragonheart... I've always loved that movie but there were parts that i didn't understood (being young and all ^^) later, about 2 years ago, they showed the movie again and i understood way more of it, then the next day there was a carnaval (seriously, it sound like from a book ) and i won a Dragon statue, i remember feeling my eyes sparkle as i saw it, then i looked up some stuff about them and loved them eversince, and about 10 months ago, i started actually collecting the statues, now i have more than 20

I clearly remember I was watching Ciruelo Cabral`s Dragon Rexx,when I suddenly feel attracted to it..not that I liked the pic,I liked the "dragon"in it!
It was like a revelation to me to feel attracted to a male dragon like that..
It`s been four years since then and I don`t think I will ever forget it.

I have loved dragons for as long as I can remember. My parents said that I allways wanted dragon toys, wached dragon movies, and so on, when I was 4 years old. and I have loved dragons since then.

Hmmm... this one I'll have to think about.. lol...

I've always known I was different. It wasn't a movie, book, or thing. It was more a slow journey to self-awareness. It started with dreams and visions, which I've had since I can remember. As time passed, they grew more vivid and impossible to ignore. When I finally accepted it, I had an amazing dream in celebration of it. To this day, it has only gotten stronger.

Then my friend David move away and I never heard of him again, and having my Dragon and my Dog, which I named them, but I'm not telling you, because I'm sounding like a 5 year old , anyway having them reminds me of him, and I still have them still.

This is more than anything a experience you had ,a dream but not an awakening yes?
An awakening is a moment,hours,days,process in which your otherkin soul awakens(hence the word)
I dun think you`re an otherkin yet,according to your intro.
Time can help you lots tho.
